Benoît Semelin (Principal Investigator)
Dominique Aubert (Co-INvestigator)
D. Aubert has been a lecturer at the University of Strasbourg since 2006 and is member of the Galaxy team led by R. Ibata at Strasbourg’s Astronomical Observatory. His interests covers topics such as galactic dynamics, gravitational lensing and cosmological radiative transfer. All these subjects are investigated through the intensive use of numerical techniques powered by parallel architectures. Lately he has been involved in the developpment of standard astrophysical techniques on Graphics processing units (GPUs).

B. Semelin has been a lecturer at the University of Paris 6 since 2004 and belongs to the LERMA group (Obersvatoire de Paris). His main topics of research are the Epoch of Reionisation, the Ly-alpha transfer and the formation of galaxies. He is also the author of several numerical codes which run on massively parallel architectures such as LICORICE or multi-zoom simulations
