Résumé :
we assume a spherically symmetric, isothermal cluster model.
Adding a magnetic field pressure term to the hydrostatic equilibrium
equation, we calculate the new electron density profile. This profile
can be written as the product of the standard density profile (i.e. an
isothermal beta profile) and a radius dependent function which takes
properly into account the magnetic field. We find that magnetic fields
can reduce the SZ-signal by about 10% for non cooling flow clusters.
A similar calculation holds for cooling flow clusters.
