Astronomical education under patronage of St.Petersburg State University

St.Petersburg State University has a great experience of
astronomical education, popularization of astronomy
and attraction of high school student to study and to work on
astronomy.
Unfortunately, St.Petersburg schools practically do not
take part in the program HOU. It is connected both with a weak
hardware in schools, and with facultative status of astronomy.
Now situation is improved. We create the centre of school
astronomical education in Academic Gimnasium (school) of
St.Petersburg University. The observant place is equipped, educational
observations on several small telescopes are led. We plan to take part
in the program HOU and, in particular, to "in hand" show opportunities
of the program to concerned teachers.
