Evolution of type Ia supernova rate

I will present the type Ia supernova explosion rate (SNR) measurement performed using events discovered by EROS. If the type II SN rate is closely related to the star formation rate (SFR), the type Ia SNR is related to the SFR but taking into account the much longer progenitor evolution. After showing the interest of measuring the SNR evolution, I will talk about the coming experiments that will be able to get it.
