Shaping galaxy evolution:

interactions & feedback

January 21-23 2013,

Observatoire de Paris, France

In the framework of the program “Cosmology and Structure of the Universe” supported by the Scientific Council of the Astronomical Observatory of Paris, we are organizing the workshop "Shaping galaxy evolution: galaxy interactions and feedback" on January 21st -23rd 2013 at the Observatory of Paris.

Much progress has been done in this field in the last few years, to identify which processes mostly shape the evolution of galaxies in different environments.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

- The Baryonic cycle and galaxy mass growth

- Mergers - Starbursts - AGN cycle

- Mergers and interactions in different environments

- Gas inflows and outflows
